Most people have no practical way to find out what's in their tap water. The data exists — the EPA and USGS publish it — but it's scattered across violation databases, monitoring records, and enforcement filings that were never meant to be read by the person drinking the water.

Nothing is asserted without a citation. Scores are assembled from Safe Drinking Water Act violations, UCMR5 PFAS occurrence data, Lead & Copper Rule actions, enforcement history, and ambient monitoring — and each figure links back to the public record it came from.
